Langhe DOC Nascetta

The white grape Nascetta was recovered in the 2000s by some winemakers from the historic cultivation area located in Novello, a few kilometers from Dogliani.

Probably centuries ago it was widespread but the risk of “extinction” had become real.

It was not before trying some Nascetta wines that the choice was made to follow the path of recovery of this variety in the company, thus making a second still and dry white wine, the best vocation for the variety.

A light pre-fermentation soaking with skins characterizes the final product even though Nascetta is not rich in specific organoleptic characteristics of the fruit, which however makes the knowledge of the wine quite immediate for those who approach the native Langhe white wine par excellence.
