Location: Alba’s hills (Cuneo)
Position: altitudine of 320 m. facing south-west.
Soil: sandy and calcareous.
Grape variety: Nebbiolo 100%. Manual harvesting with selection of the bunches.
Density: 4.400 vines per hectare
Serve at a temperature of 18 °C. in large tulip glasses
First courses with meat sauces, stewed meat, lamb, poultry, medium-aged cheeses.
Vinification: soft destemming and crushing, maceration on skins for 9-10 days and temperature controlled fermentation. Aging in oak cask at least for 12 months, then in stainless steel tanks till bottling. Refinement in bottle for 6 months
Color: deep ruby red. With aging appear light garnet.
Bouquet: clean, elegant with hints of wild berries and notes of rose
Flavor: fresh, elegant, harmonious and pleasant to drink in large sips
