Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva

The 'Sensis' Riserva edition of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a particularly exclusive product. A limited amount of 2000 bottles are produced annually, selected from only the finest bunches of our Brunello vineyards. Each bottle is numbered by hand and a select few feature a label hand-engraved on the glass by a local craftsman, adding a further level of distinction.

TASTING NOTES:

Colour: intense ruby ​​red, rather intense, brilliant. Perfumes:  intense aromatic baggage, where hints of ripe fruit, in particular plum and blueberry, give way to complex mineral and balsamic notes.
Taste: very balanced in the mouth, with a solid and balanced body with the tannic fraction which is also well blended with the other components. finish of considerable length.
Pairings: For this wine the perfect combination is our Fiorentina steak, but nothing takes away the possibility of pairing it with long-matured cheeses (e.g. Parmigiano Reggiano, Castelmagno, Monte Veronese, pecorino della Triana or Maremma). If we wanted to taste it as a meditation wine, an excellent combination could be with dark chocolate.
