Chianti DOCG

The Chianti Santa Liberata is a perfect blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorina. The grapes are collected by hand in our vineyards and reach our cellar in Cerreta Guidi. The Chianti vintage is a deep ruby red wine, clear and brilliant. To the nose, a clear perception of red cherry is in evidence, together with a bit of fresh plum. Hints of floral, violet, and red flowers, red stork's-bill, are also present. In the end, tiny balsamic notes of juniper are perceptible. 

To the palate it's dry, with traces of salt. It begins with a pseudo sweetness due to the optimum ratio between glycerin and alcohol, then spreads smoothly and ends gently with a medium content of tannins, well ripened. 

An example of remarkable balance between alcohol, structure, and acidity. 

An excellent medium-body Chianti that pairs perfectly with red meats, steaks, stews, and Tuscan dishes.
